Exhibition - Anette Björk Swensson

Anette Björk Swensson is a good friend, former teacher (when I studied decorative painting, trompe l'oeil - a long time ago now...), and a wellknown and such a great artist. Superrealism with a somewhat strange mood. This is Anette(left) and Cho (also a former student), who still runs her own decorative painting firm. An inspiring and fun saturday (with twelve-a clock-wine...)!

Back for some owls

I told you so. Owls are everywhere. These are from an antique book shop at Birger Jarsgatan in Stockholm. Don't they feel like perfectly suitable, smarter symbols of today than any bling-bling...

Seems like all owls, after a great but secret forest meeting, have decided that it's there time to shine. There are owls everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Don't know how, but think they have gotten to me to. Vintage owls, lamp owls, drawn owls....no real ones yet though. Here's some sweet owl artwork from Susie Gharhemani. Jag anar ugglor i mossen.... Guess I'll be back for more.
